What We Do

Meridian Collective is a platform to enable aspiring researchers to develop a network of peers who are rooted in varied disciplines, but share a common interest in contributing to socially impactful research agendas. Our members collaborate on joint research projects with one another and share independent research for feedback and debate.

Beyond its function as a collaborative platform, Meridian Collective serves as a broader support system for early-career researchers. Many of our members hope to enter academia or policy spaces. Building a platform of similarly-motivated individuals to help navigate these systems is invaluable, but largely absent. We are committed to providing development opportunities and peer-to-peer mentorship for scholars interested in learning more about careers in research from others in a similar position.

We hope that by bringing together a group of interdisciplinary individuals with diverse perspectives and skill sets, our members can grow as scholars and produce data-driven research that is relevant to policy-makers, practitioners, and civil society advocates.

Our Mission

To promote and connect aspiring talent interested in creating public-facing, policy-relevant, data-driven research.

Our Vision

To build a supportive community of scholars committed to asking and answering socially relevant questions which critically evaluate and re-frame global inequalities and structural barriers.
