Jackie’s Month in Review

When I think of Jackie’s work I think of the big city, New York, and I imagine her running around with a cabal of 20-somethings from Brooklyn, writing blogs and making videos. The strongest images from January that she sent me to review were personal ones (except for the bearded fellow from Serena’s story Steeping the People), taken while on a road trip in California.

On the cutting room floor I left shots of celebrities playing ping pong and Mike Meyers in a onesie. It makes me think that to take the good photos you have to get away from the industry fray and start living the good life. Time to buy a Winnebago, change your name to Poppy and hit the road, Jackie.
