Peer Edit: Jackie’s “Forever Young”
To initiate what may or may not be an ongoing series for Meridian, Jackie and I have swapped digital contact sheets and edited each other’s work. I’m posting my edit of Jackie’s road trip essay “Forever Young” today, and Jackie will post her edit of my work tomorrow.
Looking at over a hundred of Jackie’s edited photos, the body language and the hipster-y closeness of her subjects were what reeled me in. So I chose 15 photos that emphasized those themes. Without a doubt I left out some of her favorites, but we’ll just have to wait to hear what she says about that.
