Think less but see it grow
Sorry for my absence. I have been fighting the website to post the following slide show and lost. Will has graciously offered to host the slide show until things are taken fixed.
Over Memorial Day weekend, my friend Ian Parker had an idea to shoot a tribute to a youtube video (itself a tribute) that was making the blog rounds.
The song is “Lisztomania” by Phoenix and sure to get played out before the summer is over. But in the meantime, its an awesome song to dance to, which is exactly what we did, imitating the first tribute on the Photography Building’s roof (which I had been to before):
As I write this, we are over 30,000 views in less than three weeks. This thing has now taken on a life of its own and will eventually spawn another blog post, but until then I wanted to share the production photos I took (it helped keep me out of the video except for a brief appearance in the tango bit). Taking photos of the production also helps illuminate the back story and effort that went into making the video, something that can get easily forgotten when such a pretty package is delivered.
